Type Locality:	Pond in the State of Guaricó, Orinoco drainage, Venezuela.
Distribution:	Venezuela and Guyana
Biotope:	Ephemeral pond habitats in the Maracaibo basin and Llanos region of Venezuela were studied in 1997.
Size:	Males: 5 - 5.5 cm, females: 4 - 4.5 cm
