Abstract: Member of the clade Austrolebias adloffi species group (Costa).

Austrolebias adloffi species-group has a male color pattern of male (dark gray to black vertical stripes on a bright gray ground color on body side) and a derived juvenile and female color pattern (a pair of black blotches, vertically arranged, on the posterior portion of caudal peduncle). It comprises Austrolebias adloffi, Austrolebias charrua, Austrolebias minuano and Austrolebias nigrofasciatus.
