| Biotope: | At Rio Teapa near Puyacatengo the river flows slowly but contains large whirlpools. Here Rivulus tenuis is found alongside Gambusia sexradiata and maculatus platy. The Rivulus hide in the vegetation at the water's edge whilst the Gambusia swim freely along the sides of the river. |
