| Characteristics: | Body colouration white at the belly to gray at the top and rear. Males have 6 - 8 vertical lines of widely spaced white spots on the rear half of the body. The unpaired fins and caudal are a translucent yellow colour with white spots. The caudal is edged in a turquoise-green colouration. The females are flecked with light brown spots on the upper body and light brown vertical stripes run down the body behind the gills. They have a large black spot on the center of their sides and several smaller black spots at the base of the caudal penduncle. |
