    Type Locality: 40 km S El Pao, Cojedes, Venezuela
    Distribution: Central Orinoco basin, states of Portuguesa, Guarico and Apure in Venezuela.
    Biotope: It is sympatric with Micromoema xiphophora and Renova oscari at Isla Raton, Venezuela, when collected by Roger Brousseau in 1992.
    Size: 3 - 4.5 cm
