SAA Study Group News

9th September 2004 - Hey, long time since the last census!

The SAA Study Group is collecting data for the September 2004 census. The results should be available on the website soon after...

If everyone could please go to the  Members Area  and update your fish list then the census will be automatically collated for us.

If you do not have your SAA account details, have forgotten your password or cannot gain access to your account then please contact Maikel at mjf.meijer @ hccnet.nl.

If the fish species you want to enter does not exist in the database then please contact David at killizone @ hotmail.com.

As a group, we need this information to get an accurate view of the species and strains that are circulating in the hobby. From this we can see which are in decline and which are secure. The census will effectively continue indefinitely but we will have a rallying call for updates every few 3 months. Once you have created your fish list it should be quicker in future to review and update it. For this census we would like to have everything updated by the end of September.
All fish lists not viewed, reviewed or updated in the last 9 months will expire and be filtered out from the census. In order to keep your fish list current you will need to visit the members area once when a reminder for a census is issued.

As before all census data will be treated confidentially. The details will not be reused outside of the SAA group.
